Samhain celebrations

Curious how everyone is celebrating this holiday and what kinds of activities you are thinking of doing. I will definitely be trying to contact my ancestral line and cooking a feast to celebrate with my family.

I also will be preforming a lot of protection magick and cleansing out rituals to make room for the new year.

Merry Meet

I will also be connecting with family members who have transitioned, as well as remembering my familiar who is now in the spirit world. Weather permitting, I will start my fire outside in the evening and keep it going until November 2nd.

I especially miss my other coven at this time of year, so I will send out healing energy to those who have difficulties dealing with the holiday season.

It’s just me and the animals so my feast will be geared toward including them and the spirits.

In case you haven’t seen it, there are lots of good ideas here at Samhain-rituals-traditions.

Blessed Samhain!

As someone who most actively works with/is most sensitive to the dead, this time of year is extremely busy for me. It’s why I’ve been absent on here.

In a nutshell it looks like a lot of other Samhain celebrations - rituals for, and giving offerings to passed family (who were kind to me) and the ancestors. What I do to go beyond has to do with aiding in the safe passage for the recently passed - and keeping local land spirits happy. They’re both extremely attracted to me and they get particularly excited when the veil is thin. It’s a time of year too when I have to be particularly good about my boundary magick.

And of course ontop of all that I still celebrate traditional Halloween festivities too, because I still want to have fun! lol

Boy it’s fun being me this time of year. LOL Cheers!
