Ok, so. Hello, nice to meet you, I’m new here. Call me Jasper.
Introductions out of the way, let’s get into my question.
I’ve gotten this sign multiple times, and I am certain it’s a sign. I’m just not sure what it means.
I will walk into my bathroom, typically around moonrise, and I will brush my teeth and look in the mirror, and I will perceive myself as a faceless being. I can see the outline of my face, but my face itself is blurred. The mirror is perfectly clear. If I dismiss it as a hallucination and turn away and then turn back, I see my face normally again, but in a few nights it will be back. That’s what convinced me it’s a sign.
I just don’t know what it means.
It makes me feel uncomfortable and uncertain, but it’s also quite interesting and makes me feel curious.
Does anyone know who might be sending this sign (a certain deity, spirits, the world) and what it could mean? If you need more info, just comment what you need.
Thank you for your help and may the gods and spirits watch over you.

Super Saturday Jasper,
It sounds to me as if your inner self is speaking that you may not “see” yourself clearly. Are you not facing something? Is there something about yourself you wish to “unsee”?
That’s the only thing that I can think of.

Mirrors are spooky shyte, I have to keep them covered when I do anything at all spiritual.
Covering mirrors is a thing in a house of mourning, for many cultures. Cover them if you need to.

Greetings Jasper!
It could be a call from your inner self, like Lady Gene says. Mirrors are often used in a practice called shadow-working. It’s a process used to uncover parts of yourself that may be in pain, holding onto trauma, or have some other reason that needs addressing.
It’s also possible it’s a deity, but I’d think you’d be seeing other things happening if that were the case.

I guess I like to live dangerously. I never cover my mirrors! Even when I’m in ritual.
lol.

Well, I had an experience that shocked me but good, IDK if I posted it here, I may have.
I did post it in my coven’s discord. While deep in channeling I glanced up to the bathroom
mirror, and what I saw in my eyes… was not me. I was a bit (a LOT) freaked out, NGL. I was
unprepared, it may not have the same effect again, but I just don’t want to risk that again.

This is a spirit, not a deity. The way they manifested to you is interesting. If it happens again, take the opportunity to speak out loud and ask them there’s a way you can engage with them more.

Oh! No I don’t remember you telling that story.
I can see why that would have a profound effect. Interesting… yeah I understand that.
I guess to be clear, I have no mirrors in line with my altar - but I have worked around them from time to time. Sometimes when I do walking or deity meditation, I will walk in front of them, but never look into them directly. I’m too focused on the task.
I am aware that they are liminal objects though, so maybe I be more conscious of that.
