Is it Brighid or someone else?

Hello! Jasper here!

I’m really confused about this one. I’ve been feeling a strong presence and call, and at first I thought it was from Brighid, goddess of hospitality, creativity, and fire.
But as I explore my relationship with this deity/spirit, it feels like their domain is wind, perhaps hospitality perhaps generosity perhaps respect, and maybe weaving? The only strong sense I’ve gotten is that they are of Wind.
Does anyone have any idea who it may be?

ADDITION: Wind, weaving, and independence, I think? I recently got a message from them, summarized as no one should have the power to send thousands of people to their deaths and call it a mistake. It could be any form of threadcraft (I’ve been feeling a call to embroidery), but it feels mostly like weaving.

May the gods and spirits protect you,

Jasper :herb:

Fantastic Friday Seekingserenity,

I work with Brigid, for the Fire sign. For air, I use Nut for sky, Athena for wisdom and Sila for the air/breezes. I try to use as old and native as possible. Nut, Egyptian; Athena, Greek; Sila, Inuit many meanings for this one, but also air, wind.

You have a calling, but it’s not coming from Brigid. These kinds of spiritual connections are personal. The being reaching out doesn’t want to clearly reveal who they are, they may want you to seek, reflect, and grow through the process of discovering them. I suggest you explore it on your own. Pay attention to your dreams, intuitions, or anything that keeps appearing. Over time, you’ll start to recognize the one who is calling you.

There are many deities of the sky, air and wind.

Weaving narrows down the list quite a bit - the first that comes to mind is Artemis - “The Weaver” is one of her epithets. There’s also Frigg, the Norns, the Moriai, and the various spider-women/spider grandmother deities from Native America and other native cultures.

There’s also the possibility this is not a deity and instead an elemental or house-spirit, like a fae.

Cheers. :trident_emblem:

Yes, start at the ‘bottom’ and work your way up. May be a potential Familiar after all.
