Introduce Yourself! 🌟

Hi everyone, glad to be here.

I didn’t so much get into witchcraft as grow up next to it without anyone calling it that. Germanic and Nordic folk practice, mostly land spirits, ancestors, herbs, working with the seasons. My grandmother did small things around the house and land that nobody ever named “magic,” it was just how things were done.

If I have to pick a “type,” I’d say folk witch, though I hold that loosely, never fit neatly into Wiccan structure and stopped trying a while ago.

What I know best and like sharing: herb work, land spirit and ancestor practice, knot magic. Less book-learned, more hands and habit.

Favorite point in the year is Midsummer, something about the long light makes the old practices feel like they make the most sense.

Looking forward to share ideas and learn from others.

Many of us are Eclectic and only use bits from Wicca that work in our practice. IMHO

Hello I’m Alysha. I have natural abilities in tarot and basically any kind of divination. But the biggest reason I joined has to do with my dreams that come true exactly as I dreamed them. I wouldn’t say that the dreams are “prophetic” just because they are so hard to change the outcome of the situations they are about. It takes A LOT of force and will to change them. About a year and a half ago I had one come true that I know for a fact I dreamed back in 2008 or 2009. I’m going to find the place to ask about this sort of thing and write more there.

(I see your other thread, I’ll post there)

Hello there, I’ve been getting into the craft mostly because of the moon, I‘ve talked with the moon for my whole life and it somehow led me to connection with the nature around me and the craft really helped me to cherish this connection more. I think all the beauty I saw made me want to give something back.
