Hi! I’m ace and I’m thirteen.

To start off my parents are really caring, and don’t mind if me and my brothers have diff religions. (I have 8 brothers btw) they are Christians, but are very interested in and welcoming to other religions; After most of my brothers are either Atheist, Buddhist, or Christian themselves.They are also extremly supportive of my queer journey and my weird obsession with spooky month. I’m not doubting myself, but I’m scared to tell them. I have a pentacle in my room (just a normal one) and my parents thought I was a satanist. I don’t mind them, but my parents do. how do I explain I’m an empath? how do I come up with an excuse for the items I need?please hellppppp

should be a clue. I’m a parent, one of my kids was aro/ace and now is transmasc. It’s a process.

The empath status could be separate, not tied to ‘spooky occult’ so do research WITH them?

I just told my brother. he is low-key chill with it and understands, even asked some questions as to what wicca is

I agree, wait awhile until you are comfortable within yourself. Personally, I never told my mother I was Pagan. She flipped out when I start being a Latter-Day-Saint, I don’t even want to think what she would have said or done when I decided to be Pagan.
