Basically, I’m working on getting back into divination. I was big into divination, especially tarot, early in my practice, but I haven’t done it regularly in a while. Life gets in the way, yknow? Anyway, I’m trying to get back into divination and want to practice. Ages ago, when I was on witchblr, I used to offer free digital readings for people as practice, so I’m trying to do that again ^-^
Here’s what I’m offering: one to three tarot or oracle card readings, maybe with charm casting, with photos and writeups. Please know that I’m not claiming to be an expert or professional, just some guy on the internet, so use your own judgement and intuition for the interpretations. I can’t promise I’ll do readings super quickly, since I have a job and other life stuff, but I promise I’ll do my best TTvTT

I won’t do readings on physical health, and reserve the right to refuse any inquiry I’m uncomfortable with answering. Don’t give me a ton of personal information (remember that I’m just some guy on the internet!) but I find it helps to have signifiers for you and any other person involved in your inquiry, so like a pseudonym, first initial, star sign, something like that.

I think this is really good advice for someone who’s starting out. Practice with people you know, once you feel like you have a pretty good handle on the cards. Also watch people give general readings on Youtube to get a feel for what that looks like.
Mind doing one for me?
I’m trying to figure out what a (spirit? deity? entity) is that’s been following me and is with me. I met them at Wind Cave National Park. The feeling I’ve gotten from them is Wind, Independence/Choice, and Creation maybe?
Anyway, the question is: who is this sprit (deity, spirit, fae, entity?) and what do they want with me?
The knight of bows (bows correlates to wands in this deck), the fox. You’re smart and witty, and a little tricksy. I love the expression the fox has in this card, they look like they’ve either just said something wise and encouraging or pulled off a really good prank. You’re bold and playful, maybe a bit of a show-off.
The marten and foxglove, mischief. This works so well with the knight of bows that it’s kind of blowing my mind. Again I’m getting trickery and wit. You’re definitely playful and mischievous, maybe a bit chaotic or spontaneous. A really fun piece of serendipity is that there are actually foxgloves illustrated in the knight of bows card as well.
This brings us to the charms, which are pretty interesting. The purple sea glass is the air element charm, are you maybe an air sign? Or it could be referring to mischief specifically in communication, or maybe that your playful nature is spontaneous and breezy, like air. the two connected apples charm is the fruitful partnership charm, and the paper star is the friendship charm. They’ve landed on the foxgloves in both cards, so I’m getting a strong connection to the foxgloves. Do you work with the Fair Folk maybe, since in folklore foxgloves are faerie homes? Or maybe just a fairy-like person, or perhaps you work with foxgloves themselves? The last charm, the baneful hand, is being deflected, the palm of the hand turned away from your cards. You have good wards and protections working for you.
It’s funny because I am getting a very strong and specific vibe from this reading, which makes me nervous because if I haven’t got it right then I’m WAY off ^^; let me know what you think, if i’m anywhere close or really taking a STRONG swing and a miss :pp
The knight of arrows (correlates to swords), the hawk. You see the big picture, and aren’t easily deceived. The hawk in this card can see the entire valley, despite the smoke that would try and blind them. You have strong views and opinions and are not easily swayed, maybe a tad stubborn.
The salamander and black pepper, inspiration. You can withstand heat and pressure, and have a go-getting attitude.
The charms are really interesting to me here. The clear vision charm next to the hawk’s head really emphasizes the meanings of… well, clarity of vision. You know what you want or how you think things should be. The rolling pin and heart charms are laid out almost in the hawk’s line of sight, if they had been looking where their head is turned instead of at the camera. This is leading me to believe that a lot of your vision has to do with domestic and day-to-day life. You have a vision of how you want your home and partnerships to turn out, maybe of what you want your life to be in the future. The shrugging polly pocket is generally a charm representing the querent, and with her feet on the salamander (a creature usually associated with fire) it seems like you’re ready to jump into action.
Basically from this reading I’m getting a vibe that you know what you want and you have the motivation and energy to make it happen. I hope any of that resonated or at least made some kind of sense for you!
Okay, so I’ve never done an entity identification reading before, but I gave it a shot. Be sure to listen to your own intuition while reading this, and don’t be afraid to let me know if none of it makes sense haha
I first pulled an animal card, asking about any animal or energies that are associated with this entity, and got the eagle. Obviously this matches what you were saying about wind and independence. I also pulled the emperor card, leading me to believe that it’s likely a masculine energy (tbh i was getting that from the eagle already, but I had to make sure it wasn’t just because the illustration is of a male eagle haha). Something else that’s interesting is that the sun is present in both cards, specifically shown exuding energy out into the rest of the card. Could be that the sun is important/symbolic of this figure, or could just be more masculine/active energies present.
I cast some charms, and interestingly you got the goddess charm, the everything is connected charm, and the querent charm. Do you maybe have a spirit or deity that you already work with, a goddess or fertility figure, who could be connected to this new spirit? Or maybe it could be a male figure with a female counterpart? Or idk, maybe a male or masculine figure with some more feminine traits?
