Feeling it's a good time to reach out

Hi. I’m Kim by the Great Lakes! I realized years ago that I have always been somehow naturally inclined to have wiccan attitudes and beliefs I kinda wonder if my slavik granma was too. She farmed off the grid until she was in her '90s. She came to the USA when she was in her twenties from Czechoslovakia. On the farm she always taught me about the signs the skies and animals gave. She even had a friend Crow. I was very excited when I learned about wiccans and I did a lot of self-teaching and did a short period of training in a coven towards my one year and one day. Life happened for a few years and now that the dust has settled I’m craving the camaraderie. Lately, I’ve been reading things about druids and I’m curious about that too. I was a registered nurse for 38 years and spent the last 25 years also rescuing animals. Just feeling the need to reach out again. I stay off of all the social media for many many years now. Im mostly a solitary witch but it would be nice to spend holidays with others. I don’t practice the craft much. I’m just going to start getting back into rituals.

Welcome & Merry Meet.

There is something very magical when a creature befriends you. I have had a one legged crow, foxes and magpies befriend me in the past.

I also fully understand seeking camaraderie, as it was the driving reason for joining here myself.

Wacky Wednesday Kim,

Most of us have strayed from our intended path and finally returning “home”. Welcome back and have fun exploring the site. I “speak” to the animals often, birds and canine creatures (dogs, coyotes, wolves) mostly. After a long hiatus, I have returned, and started with small devotionals and oblations. Persistence pays off in the craft. Be gentle with yourself and take your time. We “will be waiting, time after time….:musical_notes: “ (Cyndi Lauper).
We also have a daily tarot pull if you would like to join us. There is a question posted daily, this is to help all of us learn how to read cards and see how others interpret them. It’s a fun and educational exercise. Welcome HOME…..Lady Gene :turtle:

Thank you for the greetings and the welcome and your stories as well. Looking forward to being more involved and learning more. I live in the country and I’m rewilding the back of my property. I love watching all the different animals gravitating to the area. I have a whole wooded area that I planted from trees that had sprouted in my gutters :joy: I’m creating quite the birdhaven. I just love being outdoors and interacting with nature.
