Good to hear! Yes, the knowledge never hurts. Cleansing objects before bringing them into the home isn’t a bad idea too.
There’s actually two ways I know of to read objects - one with a pendulum, and the other using extra-sensory perception. Pendulums are a perfect tool for reading items as they’re so accessible:
-
Hold the pendulum over the item and ask the pendulum yes/no questions on its nature, its potential relationship with you, etc:
-
“Is there something hidden in this/is something hiding in this?” “Is this cursed?” “Has this been stolen?” “Is this beneficial to me?” (and so on.)
-
Take note of the pendulum’s responses. If you don’t mind being noticed, you can do this publicly if you keep your pendulum in your pocket, as it’s quick and doesn’t require preparation.
The extra-sensory method test, for a beginner:
-
Sit in a quiet comfortable spot, in comfortable clothing, free from any distractions, and I’d keep the lights dim. Place any items you are reading within arms-length. You can close or cover your eyes if you want for the next part.
-
Breathe deeply and slowly until you reach a deeply calm, almost meditative state. Maintain this throughout the entire exercise.
-
Hold your hand just a couple centimeters or so over the item, and focus very intently on any sensations you may feel in your fingers to see if you can feel its energy field. Move your hand further away and back a few times to see if you can feel a difference. Move your hand very slowly. Don’t actually touch it.
-
The energy will likely feel extremely subtle, but certain objects (natural, electronic, living) have stronger energy, due to their nature/material. Experiment with a wide variety.
-
If you find that you can feel these subtle energies then that means you can train that ability to read objects - essentially letting your subtle senses tell you the nature of the item based on how the energy feels, and even asking it questions in a similar way as with the pendulum.
Best of luck in all your endeavors! ![]()
