Thank you for being so kind. I read your answer to my question and I do know that I suffered severe childhood trauma. I do a lot of journaling but sometimes the journaling brings up so many bad memories and then I’m traumatized all over again

I’m so sorry to hear that!
Don’t rush yourself into healing the parts that aren’t ready yet. Healing is a journey, a process, not a destination. Definitely take my advice to heart then on having someone there to help you with the processing. Try working on reframing the words you use to describe yourself too - so much of the words we choose aren’t even our own - rather just echoes of what other people have said to us.

Yes, the journaling I had to give up for the same reason. It would bring up all the bad memories and then I would be in a bad mood, like you said, “traumatized all over again”

Sorry, sometimes I’m too cryptic. A ‘book club’ could share things that can’t be posted
in the open forums as it would get the owner into trouble. Copyrighted PDFs of books for
example. I’ve been collecting such on Facebook (with an anonymous ‘smurf’) for years.

If I started to post links to copyrighted PDFs on my MEGA account, and the author/publishers
found out, the owner of this forum would get into legal trouble, most likely a ‘take-down’ notice
at the very least. Which is why such things must be handled in PM only, or in some sub-group
where it’s not public but restricted to known members. My own high priestess is an author, and
her books are illegally shared openly. So I know both sides of this. However, some books are
public domain, but it’s too difficult to keep track of that. That’s what I meant by ‘book club’.

That sounds like you have a hell of a library. I’m kind of curious to see what’s in it, but I don’t want you to get in trouble. I have no idea if the bots here scan private messages, but there’s a chance that they are. I notice that they censored out the last part of your first reply to Ivy.
