Hekate is a very popular goddess with new witches, I’ve never personally worked with her though. I’ve heard of Selene also, but same deal.

I am so excited and so stoked. I did my first spell today, completely something I’d put together,and it was a banishing spell with a black candle. I mixed all my own herbs because I’m studying about those too, I mixed my herbal oils, wiped down my candle and wrote my own incantation so when I did the spell i I could read it. I put and put my intention on parchment paper and I threw it in my cauldron with the remaining herbs that didn’t stick to the candle and I read my banishing spell that I wrote, and it crackled so hard and so loud that I jumped back and then all of a sudden white smoke tons of white smoke started coming up and the crackling stop in the white smoke came right to my chest. In the meantime my candle flame is huge and I took a picture of it. Oh my God the flame is outrageously high white, no dripping on the candle, which means good things. From my understanding in. short means that the spell worked. You should see the flame on this candle. I must be 2 inches high. I wish I could send you a picture of it and it’s not really dripping at all. I’m so excited I did my first spell all by myself. Thank you for always being there and being a positive force for me. I appreciate you. I didn’t know I could send a picture! there it is.i’m also taking the remains of the ashes, my baby cauldron to Lake Erie and throw it in and then I’m gonna rinse my cauldron to make sure the whole spell goes. I am crazy excited I’m so sorry so right after I posted this my flame on my candle turned a beautiful color of gold and it had a gold outline. I did get a picture of some of it. The gold outline read that that is a seal that that hex or curse or whatever it was, will not be coming back. So this is what I read, but it’s about a candle flame. I’m sorry guys. I am just so excited that it worked

It’s funny, as a Cancer you’d think I’d have worked with lunar deities but I haven’t. Technically Shiva one of my primaries has a moon amongst his symbols, but in Hinduism the moon is a symbol of change and time, so that’s the meaning in his symbolism. Cheers.

Thank you . I’m an Aries and I was born on a waning gibbous moon. A fire sign, it would make sense o would be drawn to a flame and born on the gibbous moon kinda takes me to a cool spot literally a cooler spot. It’s interesting. I just love the way nature in space and time Antoine around each other and create the forces that are so cool! You were born in the sign of water, this very interesting fire signs are supposed to get along famously with water signs. I believe that. My candle burned right down. It’s so weird not drips not anything. That is what’s left of it. I was so forward.

Now that explains it! You are correct there, I’ve often gotten along well with fire signs.

I’m also Aries. But I don’t put much stock in horoscopes like are printed in newspapers.
Much stronger is the influence of the Moon and that’s usually the only thing I track.

Don’t pay attention to newspaper horoscopes, they’re horrible. Astrology is a gigantic subject. Sun-signs, lunar signs, rising and descending signs, lunar node signs, there’s a universe of influential energies that get mapped out through astrology.
