Your sentiment is easily understood probably by many of us here to some degree or another. It may not be the same, but everyone here has been most accepting and kind. What is it that prevents you from being you in your area? If you don’t mind sharing.

I feel you! In a world dominated by Abrahamic religions, it’s easy to feel pressured into not being yourself.
Why appeal to others, though - when fear is the opposite of love and acceptance? They can never learn to accept us if we don’t present ourselves honestly and give them that challenge. If enough of them learn to recognize their own hypocrisy, then perhaps change will happen. None of that can happen if we keep ourselves forever in the dark.
Have confidence in your own goodness, and don’t let other people tell you who you are.
