Hi there everybody! I’m Victoria and I’m 41 years old. I’m very new to this as I just started researching and getting myself situated. I’m looking into witchcraft and magick because I want to reinvent myself, focus on myself and become part of something that is nature based. I come from the Greek Orthodox religion and I can say that I didn’t really connect and I tried going to a nondenomination Christian church and that I just couldn’t connect with that. It felt like something was missing. I was lost. Then I started talking to my best friend who is Pagan and it got me really interested and here I am.

Welcome to our pack 
! You will learn that many of us are older, with life having gotten in the way of our path in life. For people with a Christian background, and you, Greek Orthodox, should understand this quite well. Catholics, basically took all the pagan god/desses and beliefs and wrapped them up in Christianized bows. So, it should be a fairly easy transition in your case. Of course, you will learn what the god/desses really are before the church changed it to fit their narrative. Sorry to mainstream bash…I actually raised my kids Baptist, so don’t get me wrong.

Hi Lady-Gene!!! I actually agree with you, they did change it to fit their narrative, that’s another reason why I just couldn’t get into it or feel connected. Don’t worry I don’t find that you are bashing anything because honestly it’s the truth. I tried and tried to connect but I couldn’t even get through reading the Bible. I just don’t agree with it. I’m going to PM you for those three books now!!
