I bought this book a couple of years ago and realized recently that I never read it. I started on it the other day and something just clicked in my head that I needed help and starting researching. It’s a wonderful book, so far!
A post script to this. I was sitting upstairs reading the book yesterday, and I was thinking ‘where did I get this book from… it smells of cigarette smoke!”
Now, please don’t laugh as you imagine me sitting there sniffing the book: the smell truly was driving me crazy.
I looked up and there was smoke all through the air.
I was able to get the washing in from the clothes before the smoke infused itself with them, so it was timely.
And the smoke was from a bush fire in my area that had only just started. Fortunately it was put out by the fire fighters before it became a major issue. I can’t say the same for a lot of other places in Victoria though, there is a lot of the state burning at the moment.
I count my blessings that I am not in one of those areas.
@Red_Fox what a great find. I was recently gifted this book. I’m just beginning my practice. I look forward to learning from and reading it. I’m sure the book '“found you” for a reason.
My cousin’s friend gave her this book, she gifted it to me after reading it, I gifted it to another, and she gifted it to one of her friends. I tried to keep track of how many people had read it, but lost track. Anyway, good reading.
You can’t ignore it when that stuff happens! The divine clearly wants you to read it. I’ve never read it, but I know it’s very popular among the more modern green craft books. Very cool!
I think too that sometimes we just need to sit down with NO digital media and have a cup of tea and a good book. I agree and think it is wise to strive to be aware of life’s unexpected blessings.
