Blessed be everyone,

So…I want to expand my knowledge of my craft and I’m very much a visual learner who forgets things often, sometimes I find it very helpful to have a physical book I can reference readily available. Anyway, back to my topic/question: does anyone have any book recommendations and places to find them for an eclectic hedge witch who wants to dabble in a little bit of everything that aren’t hexes, curses, voodoo, summoning, hemomancy, or necromancy?

That sounds just like my no-go list too! I’m also a Hedge Witch AKA Shaman.

I made a link for this purpose:

Thank you so much, I appreciate it

Terrific Tuesday Slayer,

I got ya, baby.

I always recommend these 3.

Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham. This is a very easy read and covers basics to get you started on your path.

Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft (Affectionaly called, Buckland’s Big Blue) by Raymond Buckland. This is a little more in-depth and is also like a workbook with space at the end of each chapter with questions. He developed a Wiccan style/practice called Seax-Wicca.

A Witches Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet & Stewart Farrar. This book is in-depth Gardnerian Wicca and is very formalized and ritualistic.

I suggest these three. I give them in order of difficulty and information to learn. I love The Witches Bible for history as to what and why. I really like Buckland’s Book because he explains things a little differently and provides good questions at the end of each chapter for you to think about. Then the first one, Wicca…Solitary Practitioner. This one is wonderful to start with. It is a short, easy read. It gives great basics.

I hope you have time to look at these. I keep these as my “go-to” books when I need clarification.

Lady Gene  :sparkler:
