Is this book good or not-so-good?

Merry Meet, everyone!

Whilst perusing witchy books in my local library’s online catalog, I came across an e-book titled:

Psychic Witch: A Metaphysical Guide to Meditation, Magick & Manifestation, by Mat Auryn.

I’ve read through it twice (it’s a short text intended as an introduction to witchcraft for beginners–which suits me perfectly), and found it straightforward and clearly written. As I’m hardly in a position to determine the value (or lack thereof) when it comes to witchcraft writings, I’m wondering if anyone here is familiar with this volume and would care to share their opinions–good or bad–of it?

Thanks for considering this.

Merry Meet Tom,

I just bought that book :open_book: a little while ago and it is WONDERFUL. It takes a while to completely work through it, as each chapter has “lessons” that you need to work through in order to continue. Yes, you can “read” the whole book; however, it is better, if you take it slow, the way Mat wrote it and do each step, as the steps build upon one another. I love it!!! That said, I looked through the whole book, to check how these lessons were set up. Then, I started to read it and work through it. You should get it. Just my opinion. —Lady Gene :crystal_ball: :magic_wand:

Merry Morning Tom,

I am glad you decided to go with the book. And yes, it is a ‘must-buy’ because, like you said “without the time pressure of a library due date.” I am a bibliophile :books: and have a “frequent flyer” card for the library because I only purchase books that I intend to keep, not just read. This book, with the necessity of working through it, makes it NOT a good option from the library. Kudos, and have FUN!!!

Merry Part and “happy hunting” Lady Gene :crystal_ball: :magic_wand:
