Imbolc is coming need Ideas for my gathering

My husband and I live in a very Christian community and there are no covens or tribes in our area but we the founding members of a group for pagans in our area. We meet only for holidays and special events.

We tried to meet up for Yule, but it was hard for several of our members as that was about the time we got hit with a HUGE blizzard. So, we are next planning on getting together for Imbolc. I’m planning on having a blessing of the candles and brooms for this night before Imbolc. Does anyone else have any ideas.

My husband has been solitary for many decades, and I am kind of new (8 years) in my practice and we have always observed just the 2 of us. this is new to us hosting these events, but we are the elders or at least my husband is in our community.

I would appreciate any ideas you all might have.

I actually enjoy Imbolc but that is a while for me being in the southern hemisphere… but I usually make decoration using stones and candles. See photos below from past years as an example.

I also celebrate matching the foods commonly associated with Imbolc, but I have never had to cook for a gathering, which might be trickier. Maybe incorporated parts Imbolc associated foods within a dish: nuts could be a garnish or an ingredient for example.
