So, I’ve made it known that I’m a hunter when I’m in the spiritual realm. I knew that I’d be working for the heavens, but I never expected to be working with hell. Satan himself had came to me a few days ago, revealing to me that he had heard me. For context, when I was a teen, I had offered my soul for the power of biomass manipulation. I had gotten the idea from a game, nerdy I know but I’m a nerd lol. Anyways, Satan had revealed to me that he had heard my prayer. However, instead of taking my soul, he wants me to serve hell as a demon hunter. Because, in his own words, “some demons are too wicked for me to handle. Which is why I choose you.” So I’m effectively a mercenary for the heavens and hell. I saw where I’d live in hell and in Asguard. I’m honestly okay with the fact that I have a home in both places.
oo, that must be tough sometimes! Like a rope being pulled in opposite directions (from what I understand of the skaldic religion as portrayed in the Eddas- Hel and Asgard exist on opposite ends of the cosmic spectrum) . But you must be super powerful for the Old Deuce to choose you for such a task..
hey can I ask how that works, that sounds super interesting
The spiritual sight or my boi mass manipulation?
For the sixth sense, I had done a very elaborate ritual on the Autumn equinox Harvest moon, and from there I was able to see in the spirit realm. I soon learned that my mom used to do witchcraft so, it could be residual magik that had awakened that night.
As for the boi mass manipulation, or Biomancy as I call it, I use magik energies around and within me to manipulate my hands into claws, my arm in to either a blade or two big ass fists properly named hammer fist, a whip fist or even tendrils.
I know other magik too, mostly from the games I play. I mostly do rituals to banish evil spirits from my home using my magik.
It can be a double edged sword sometimes. On one hand I’m grateful to the heavens and hell for my magik. But on the other hand, I’ll always have that reminder that I once offered my soul to the devil for my powers, only for me to become a hunter after being blessed by the gods across multiple pantheons.
Yes, such a heavy burden and a big responsibility. Your powers do sound super awesome though
I have made contact with gods like Thor, Odin and even Christ himself. I pretty much talk to the devil and the gods daily as I refuse to ground after rituals so I can stay connected.
As for my mom, I honestly don’t know. I know she has seen a ghost but she doesn’t talk to the gods. She has no clue about the deal I made with the devil, but she knows about the gods I speak to.
I’d say I’m fine with it for the most part. The only real drawback is that sometimes demons from hell can be a little annoying. The most they want is attraction, at least in my experience.
I met him many decades ago, that makes sense since he’s Abrahamic a deity outside of that
‘system’ might cause a problem. However, there is a simple solution, IF you’re not a Priestly
class. The rule is no gods above ELOHIM*, you must acknowedge ELOHIM as creator and
just not consider any other god to be ‘higher’. People in the Canaanite culture had minor
demigods and patron saints and household Spirits ALL the time. Yeshua is my Patron Saint to
the Masculine G-d EL but I don’t worship Him I worship ELOHIM as He taught that’s the point.
Just like Lilith is my Patron Saint to the Divine Feminine G-d ELAT and also isn’t one I worship
per se but have a relationship with to also receive Teachings. It’s a System, you see. 2 + 2 = One
*(EDIT: One note, EL, ELAT, and ELOHIM are labels-titles NOT ‘proper names’ so there’s that…)
Indeed. In that context it makes sense. Ah yes… and that there is the “problem” - because I don’t believe that.
There’s a reason why Buddhism could never make it past the middle-east and westward. It may not be well known, but there was a war of invasion by the Muslims that forced the dharmic traditions to stay in the East. There was once a time that there was massive Dharmic religious centers in the middle east before the abrahamic wars started but they’re all in ruins now - reduced to only very obscure references in history.
But in the East where the folk religions were never destroyed, and such religious wars just didn’t happen - it syncretized itself seamlessly, as we all know. This is what makes it so compatible with pagan practices, but not Abrahamic ones.
Sorry I guess I launched off into a history lesson there lol. I mean no offense to anyone here of course, if any of that comes across that way. ![]()
No offense taken, sounds like the ‘bad boy’ of Abraham (Islam) went & caused trouble. Again.
Xianity would have appropriated it all, like it did in the Pagan West, so not much better IMHO.
Now Judaism (and AFAIK Baha’i) are pretty chill with other people’s faiths, so long as no big
proselytizing goes on to draw Jews away from their priestly duties. Other nations have G-d’s
Love and guidance of course! Jews are drawn to Buddhism in fact, witness the JUBU FYI.
lol, yup, that’s essentially what they did - during the colonization of India and the Indian Continent:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Anglo-Indian_wars
Under various Christian colonial powers, especially after a massive war of invasion by the Brits, the effort to fully assimilate India into Christianity and achieve control over all layers of Indian society also happened - by outlawing traditional Hindu/folk practices. Same thing they did in the West with Scandinavian cultures, etc. - so yeah, you called it. lol…
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barlaam_and_Josaphat
They created the saint Josaphat as an attempt to do the same to the Buddhists too. Fortunately since India has gained its freedom a lot of these distortions of dharmic and folk traditions have stopped!
You’re right, you don’t get this kind of conflict with Judaism! They are easily the most chill of the abrahamic “brothers” lol. If our neighboring countries in the west were Jewish, who knows, the dharmic history might’ve been different. lol, I remember the JuBu thing! ![]()
Whoever genuinely works with the underworld knows there is no need for a demon hunter. Entities of that realm do not require human assistance to police or hunt other spirits. There’s no logic for him to ask you for help.
It’s like insisting a classroom needs a “student hunter” because it has students. The students are meant to be there. In the same way, there are a lot of demons in the underworld because they have ties there.
Magickal Monday Littlefield,
Wow, that sounds so wonderful, awesome, and in 1970’s slang, “heavy”.
More power to you, sweetheart!!
