So, I’ve made it known that I’m a hunter when I’m in the spiritual realm. I knew that I’d be working for the heavens, but I never expected to be working with hell. Satan himself had came to me a few days ago, revealing to me that he had heard me. For context, when I was a teen, I had offered my soul for the power of biomass manipulation. I had gotten the idea from a game, nerdy I know but I’m a nerd lol. Anyways, Satan had revealed to me that he had heard my prayer. However, instead of taking my soul, he wants me to serve hell as a demon hunter. Because, in his own words, “some demons are too wicked for me to handle. Which is why I choose you.” So I’m effectively a mercenary for the heavens and hell. I saw where I’d live in hell and in Asguard. I’m honestly okay with the fact that I have a home in both places.

oo, that must be tough sometimes! Like a rope being pulled in opposite directions (from what I understand of the skaldic religion as portrayed in the Eddas- Hel and Asgard exist on opposite ends of the cosmic spectrum) . But you must be super powerful for the Old Deuce to choose you for such a task..
