We are all but acolytes on our paths. Some might be further along their path, and some might be just starting. None of our paths are the same. There are many paths to the light. And what might be right for some might not be right for you. Feel free to latch onto those things that resonate with you, but feel free to release that which doesn’t. And don’t trust those that will only share their knowledge when you open up your wallet. True pagans revel in sharing with like minded souls.
What part of MI do you hail from? I was made in Detroit, and raised in Fraser, Mt. Clemens, and Niles. Been working my way south since, made it FL almost 20 years ago. I keep this up I might end up in Costa Rica

Thank you for the advice. I haven’t been on in a while due to family issues. however, I feel you are so correct in the fact that i should be careful of those who will only “help” when paid. While I do believe people should be paid for their services, but I know myself when someone is truly interested in something i have knowledge in I’m very willing to share. It’s also nice to be reminded to always take what feels right to me and my journey and leave the rest. growing up in organized religion in a church that was very “by the book” i sometimes get lost in the trap of I’m not doing this right or i excuse knowing things sometimes before they have happened as luck or whatever. I’m so happy to have found this community and i look forward to being a more active member! oh and btw i was born in Detroit grew up in hazel park and live in Macomb County now! Looking forward to the day i move from Michigan I am not a snow kinda girl like at all lol! Nice to meet you!

I agree with NOT paying money to learn about the Craft. If someone is really interested in helping you, they will FREE OF CHARGE, to introduce you to something so simple, easy, and REAL. As Morgan said, in many ways we are ALL baby witches. Please look around the site, there are many different people here, from many walks-of-life, continents, cultures, beliefs…so, look and feel free to ask all the questions you want.

Thank you very much for the kind welcome and encouragement. I have always been drawn to tarot and have tried a couple of times but I felt I didn’t fully understand how to protect myself and had a “mentor” who kept pushing me to read for her and I think that experience made me stop exploring with her and started on my own. I’m still very lost so I’m looking forward to your threads there’s so much good information here from so many people what a blessing!!
