Trigger Warning: death, grief, anxiety
So due to the trauma of my best friend’s death about two years ago ,I get really anxious when I’m separated from someone I’m close to. My partner has become one of my favorite people in the world and I feel very close to him, and this is how I felt about my best friend, Alex. I guess this triggered some sort of response because whenever I’m separated from him I feel really anxious about him and worry if he’s ok or not. I am currently in therapy for this so don’t think im immediately resorting to magic lol. Does anyone know any crystals, teas, or essential oils that I could use or any rituals or spells I could do to help reduce anxiety? I don’t want to seem too clingy around my partner and I’m tired of always feeling on edge all the time.

Superb(owl) Sunday Eliot,
I believed we have “talked” already, some other post. I try to go natural, always, first. For anxiety, Passion Flower tea I would say is the strongest for calming purposes (anxiety), Lavendar, then Chamomile. I would rate their strength in reducing anxiety in that order, Passion Flower, Lavendar and Chamomile. Lavendar tends to be a little bitter, I need sweetener for that only, the others are tolerable (I just try not to do extra sugar if possible). If you have access to a Latin market, you will be able to find these “flavors” already in tea bags. You may even find others that you wish to try. Weight loss teas usually have a cascarada (or something like that) that I cannot use because it causes cramping for me. I say this to let you know just because it says natural, it may not work for you. Ex. I am on heart medication (2 heart attacks already) and ANY “speed” will really bother my system. Gotu Kola, Guarana, these are just 2 that are natural but increase heartrate/metabolism so I have to stay away. So, if you have any medical problems, look up the tea first and see if it has any adverse effects for your system.
Amethyst is for the mind, maybe it can help soothe your thoughts. I drink amethyst/sun water daily. It helps with the synapses in my mind (coma, TBI, seizures)
I hope this helps you out a little bit, sweetheart. Lady Gene

Thank you Lady Gene! So ive been looking into crystal water, how would I go about making that? I cant find anything about it aside from not to put the crystals in the water you want to drink because of chemicals.

Merry Monday Morning Eliot,
Glad to help you. I posted somewhere else, (don’t remember). I make sun and moon water. As for crystals in the water, you mention “because of chemicals”….that is due to the washing process of the crystal. Crystals are just rocks. I would not use magnetic ones (hematite, meteorite…) in the waters. I use amethyst (which, if it is an untreated stone, will be fine) for the sun-water, and a moonstone for the moon-water. If you are hesitant to place them in the water; bless your water
, cap, and place the stone
on the lid, in the sun/moon light. Works just as well!!! Hope this helps you out and gives you the impetus to get started.

Magick Monday Eliot,
This is what I do and say, feel free to change at your discretion.
I fill the jar with water with the stone (amethyst for sun, moonstone for moon) inside
, I cap it and place it on the widowsill with these words,…thank-you Danu for the water, Hanwi, please put your magnificent moonbeams in my water….namaste, ladies, namaste…..in the morning, I remove the jar and say….thank-you Danu for this water, thank-you Hanwi for your magnificent moonbeams in my water, please Tiamat, use this water to repair my liver…namaste, ladies, namaste…pour it in my water bottle….refill with water and day stone (amethyst) and say these words…thank-you Danu for this water, please Brigid, send your sensational sunbeams into my water…namaste, ladies, namaste…and place on the windowsill, at sundown, I remove the jar with these words…thank-you Danu for my water, thank-you Brigid for your super sunbeams, Tiamat, please use this water to reconnect the synapses in my mind, namaste, ladies, namaste….pour it in my bottle, and start with the moon water, again.
Very simple……I have been doing it since about Oct. 2024. Within 6 months people started commenting on how much better I was looking. At my dr. checkup about a year into my waters, my blood pressure was down more than it had in decades!!! Dr. assumed it was vitamins….but my only change was the waters and my practice with the Craft. Let him think it’s vitamins. We all know better!! So, I suggest the sun and moon waters for anybody. You may want to check on which crystals are okay to put in water. I read that my amethyst may be dangerous. My crystal is not “processed” so I don’t have to worry about chemicals….and the amethyst itself is so small, I am probably ingesting more toxins, just by breathing this city air. I prefer the stones in my water.
Well, happy water making, Eliot…..Lady Gene

Try lemon balm, use skullcap if your anxiety becomes intense. Use mugwort in moderation. All are easily obtained and can be used in tea form. Lavender and mint sachets to sniff and squeeze. Try a diffuser with essential oils and visualize everything going well with your loved one!

Ill try that tonight, thank you!
Greetings!
I think the best thing for you, as an add-on to your therapy, would be visualization or mindfulness based meditation. (If you aren’t doing something like that already.)
Self-love rituals of any kind can help enormously too when dealing with any kind of trauma, and if you’re looking for a stone Rose Quartz is perfect for self-love. For essential oil blends, one combo I’ve personally loved was Rose Otto, Cedar and Bergamot (in whatever base oil that agrees with your skin.) After a long bath or a shower, some self-massage with a good oil blend like that is what I would do. Focusing on cultivating a strong loving, unconditional bond with yourself can overcome over-attachment on others. All the limitless love, strength and belonging you desire exists within!
(And please be careful of Mugwort, it can induce hallucinations if not taken with care.)
Peace be to your healing.

So can Nutmeg, as I found out by accident. A grimoire said to take seven balls before bed for
lucid dreams. No instruction on size, just make them with butter. I guess maybe pea size, mine
were marble sized. No dreams for me, but room-mate had a snake Jinn visit him as lay in bed,
wide awake. He never took my magick advice after that, don’t blame him! LOL
