Hi guys. Christian Wiccan here. My “theology” seems contradictory at first, but I promise once I explain it’ll make sense. Basically instead of worshipping Freja or another god/goddess, I worship the Christian Triune God (father, son, Holy Spirit). That being said, and I think He would agree, many human hands have mangled our holy text and manipulated it for their own gain. I’m very careful about the magic that I practice and let Spirit guide me. I don’t dabble in grey or black, though I don’t mind learning more about them. I never practice for personal gain. I’m just not the kind of person to bury my head in the sand and pretend it doesn’t exist The enemy will use anything to attack spiritually, so sometimes you need to be prepared to defend yourself in the same way.
I got into Magick during my religious experimenting while I was in high school. I felt a deeper connection to energies and the earth than I could explain. I have a strong connection to the deceased and the veil seems thinner for me. I have an affinity for divination and energy work, but desperately want to learn more.

Merry meet, and welcome to the pagan grimoire.
You values are much the same as mine.
Most of my diviniation work is with pendulums.

Welcome!
Yes, I have heard of Christian Wiccans, and Christian Witches too. (related but not identical)
My path is a bit related, my God is the same Bronze Age Mesopotamian Storm-Warrior God as most humans worship now.
Yeshua, I don’t worship, but follow his teachings as he is someone fully Ruach haKodesh.
My search and path is now centered on the Divine Feminine, or Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit)
IMHO, all 3 Abrahamic religions have obscured or hidden Her, and She is un-named and silent
in these patriarchal systems, but present in the Holy Books, if one has eyes to see.
So, I turn to the rest of humanity, what is called Pagan, to discover Her aspects and qualities.
So, I guess I could be considered Abrahamic Pagan. Despite this also seemingly contradictory.
I take the title of Shaman (but not the indigenous type) as this oldest faith system of Man is now mine.
Sorry to hijack your intro, but just wanted to show you that your path is not unknown.

Merry Morning Queen,
As I have always said….”we are headed to the same destination; just on different paths…” Likewise, I totally understand where you are coming from… I grew up an athiest/witch, and raised my kids Christian. I have always thought, that all the beliefs, really preach the same thing….just different ways about getting there….so, I do NOT see a difference between Christianity and any other “main-stream” religion and “the Craft”.
Welcome to our Group!!!

I look forward to “seeing” you elsewhere on the site….Lady Gene
