Reading through a lot older posts, I have noticed a trend. A lot of people join the community and either lurk or introduce themselves, and then leave it at that.
I fully understand that someone is shy or feels they don’t know enough and have nothing to contribute. But everyone has to start somewhere, and everyone is free to contribute, from those recently awakened to their path, and to those that have worn out soles on their shoes from having walked their path for years.
SO, to that end, if anyone reading this wants to reach out and send me a message, please feel free to do so. Especially if it helps break the ice.
I agree Red Fox.I was more active originally but then got a bit bored to be honest. I totally get the universe sends us what we put out but the site is definitely member driven. I’m not seeing much activity outside of introductions either.
This year I was to be more present in my life. Last year’s challenges had me drifting more through life than participating in it. This year I need to make things happen than watch thing happen through a haze. I’ll keep you in my mind as a great contact.
This sounds like me since this time in 2020. I started shift work and time goes in a blink of an eye, with all the good intention I had being mostly reactive and not proactive.
One reason I hope people do reach out is to constantly remind me to be in the present and proactive.
It’s a bit like this on all forums I’ve been on. IDK what reddit & places like that are like, I find that format confusing TBH.
Drama and controversy do generate activity, but the wrong kind. Maybe if there were an off-topic and/or fun category or two, it’d pull more ppl here daily, or at least weekly? Works other places.
A great sentiment Red Fox. I think even little things like enjoying a cup of tea in the evening with a candle and soft instrumental music would help. I nmeed to journal more. I like the ideas on this blog.
