Merry meet! As we are connecting with the Mabon season, one of the things that is good to do at this time is think of the blessings you have gotten this year (or at least day by day). I figured maybe it would be cool to have a thread that people could use to write their gratitude if they choose to do so. This season, i give thanks to my deities.
Hail Hestia! Lady of the flame. Thank you for coming into my life recently. Thank you for helping me reconnect to the magick of home and of community. Thank you for helping me feel peace and presence of home after a long hard day. Thank you for keeping my home and loved ones safe while im away. Thank you for the giving community i live in, and thank you for helping me find home when away from home.
Hail Hecate! Triple faced mother of the crossroads. I have come to many crossroads this year. Lost. Confused. Then you lit the torch, and made my options clear. Thank you for your protection, thank you for helping me to stand up for myself in times i felt helpless. And thank you for bringing me to someone who was helpless in a time of need. Thank you for being the guiding hand.
Hail Cernunnos! Lord of the land. Thank you for the food you provided to sustain me and my family this year. Thank you for the animals that i have befriended. Thank you for leading me and my loved ones in ways of getting by when life got difficult and funds ran low. Thank you for chasing away unwanted energies from my home and my land.
Hail to the Lord and Lady! (btw i see cernunnos as aspect of “lord”) who created me. Who created all things. Thank you for my home, my working car, my job, my improved health. Thank you for everyone in my life. Thank you for helping me to get out of bed and start the day when its hard for me to. I am thankful every day to be alive, and that all who i love are alive. Thank you for every blessing big and small.
