My name is Patty Renfro-Wonderly. I’m 69 years old. I grew up in southern central California, a very conservative part of the state. At 13 I began my exploration into astrology and seeking guidance from the voices in my head. When a friend showed me Christianity, I thought that was my answer so I hid my “evil” interests and followed what would end up being nearly 40 years of fighting my most authentic self. Trauma from church life lead me back to my early teenage search where I found my true self in spells, crystals, horoscopes, auras, and authenticity never offered in religion. I am an absolute beginner. I know I am not an herbal witch, and am drawn to crystals, tarot, astrology, and nature. I write young adult and middle grade fantasy and have one self-published novel, “Child Lost Child Found”. I can’t wait to get to know you and am ready to be mentored.

Like you I am from Vegas (SoCal). At a young adult age (14) I started to repress the craft/spiritual tendencies…also, Christianity after that (Baptist)…So, I hear ya, all the way…. Welcome to this site…we do not have “mentors” because everyone is a MENTOR in this group. No 1 person has authority in any topic…we all have our interests and specialties. Please take a big look around and feel free to pop in on any topic.
