It’s a pretty modern term I think? I think the inspiration comes from the “cottage-core” aesthetic on instagram and tik-tok. That article looks lovely! (By all means correct me if I’m wrong, OP!)
What I meant was if you google ‘cottage witch’ you get links to the game ‘Minecraft’.
I’ve seen this plenty of times when a game for esthetics use a real Magick term or label.

( And I don’t mean that in a mean way at all - I’ve had inspiration and spiritual interventions from strange places and video-games myself. There are certain stories I refrain from telling on here 'cause they’re cringy as hell.
