This year the Spring Equinox and the 2nd day of the 2nd lunar month (aka 龙抬头, the raise of the dragon’s head) fell on the same day!
On 龙抬头 we cut our hair, which means preparing ourselves for the coming year.

Yesterday was the 1st of Nissan the first month in the Hebrew calendar.
I’ve not cut my hair or shaved in a year, I’m going for the Gandalf / Moses look!
( There’s multiple new years in the Hebrew calendar, one just for trees! )
