I’ve been watching the new Agatha series on Disney+ and I was curious: what are some of your favorite witch shows? I loved the newer Sabrina, but am always looking for more… I’ve heard good things about the Mayfair Witch show and A Discovery of Witches. Thoughts? And, any other recs? (They don’t have to be new.) ---

Loved A Discovery of Witches and the Mayfair Witch ones. I’m always looking, too. I like witchy/fantasy/dragon shows. ---

Hi I 've always loved Charmed and although not specifically witchy Supernatural. Also loved Buffy abd Angel. Despite only living down the road from Oxford/ Cambridge I couldnt get into Discovery of Witches. Don’t think I could relate to the actors or characters. My favourite film is Practical magic ---

I give you a guess. Back in the day I made and effort to learn how to wiggle my nose. You guessed it…Bewitched. I LOVE Charmed and I was sadden by Shannon’s death. I am watching both shows and I found Discovery of Wtiches in Hardback at a Thriftstore. I was thrilled. I also have ONE from from the Mayfair Witches Series by Ann Rice. ---

If you like fantasy and witchcraft, I would recommend The Witcher series on Netflix. It’s not all about the male lead, there is another whole storyline about a witch and her learning her magic, etc. It is really good. ---

Did you know that Henry Cavil quit the show because they were going against the story line of the game, which inspired the show. I LOVE Henry and he was a huge fan of the game, which is why he quit. They started putting politics in it. Now, I can’t remember his name, but remember his face. Chris Helmsworth’s younger brother is going to play Geralt. A true fan of the game, will not like what they did to the characters of the game. I love who they got to play Yennifer, but despise others, which was pure politics. I also love who they picked for Dandelion the Bard. Many shows have failed, I liked because they put politics on the show…most people are tired of it. ---

Yes, I want to see that. I LOVED Wandavision…it was fantastic. I can’t wait until the next movie starring and OMG…her name slipped my mind, play the Scarlet Witch. I can just go to Youtube and watch Scarlet Witch faceoff with Thanos on The Avenger and she would have killed him, if it wasn’t for it minions who distracted her. She is the older Sister of the Olsen Twins. ---

I am watching Discovery of Witches and started on Mayfair Witches, which the books are by Ann Rice, may she romp in Summerland. Witching Hour, Talos and Lasher. I just found Talos yesterday at a used book store and found Discovery of Witches book a few weeks ago. They are going along with the Ann Rice books, so far. I have not read the Discovery book yet. ---

I believe the game was based on the book series. The show is so much like the books in how it bounces back and forth from present to future and back to present. ---

One of my favorites to rewatch this time of the year is season 3 of American Horror Story: The Coven. It’s creepy, it’s a little dark, it’s set in New Orleans so there’s a bit of voodoo in it as well… AND our beloved white witch, Stevie Nicks has a cameo! ---

🎃 🥰 I personally, loved american horror story coven season 3. I loved the black costar girl with voodoo or masochistic magic, like a witch. You know she hurts herself, but it effects others. I also loved the vampire diaries witches, Bonnie bennett she had expression and dark magic, which was so out of this world to watch and think about. Including True Blood a HBO series on television, I could not get over season 4 with the witch coven in a lot and the leader would use power with her group at night. Further more Buffy the vampire slayer, I did not hate Willow Rosenberg how she had witchcraft with the book in the library absorbing its black letters. ---

Adams Family, from way back. Not outright ‘witchy’ but close? Never took Bewitched too seriously, seemed too campy. Same for Munsters. There’s been other shows like Charmed, but the Adams got me hooked. ---
