I’m wondering whether you should talk about your spirit guide with others, or is this something personal that one wouldn’t share much about. I was in a gong meditation session last week and had a flash that I think might have been my spirit guide showing herself to me.

Very good question. The answer is…what do you feel? No, not a therapist, but the Craft does not have any set rules on what is right or wrong…[sounds a little Catholic to me]…
If you believe it is a Spirit Guide, then Abso-tuta-lute-ly make contact!!! Only you will know if it is correct or not. Before you attempt anything, I would start with self-grounding, so that you will be ready for what decides to visit you.

Yours is a good question. My initial take is that you may want to ask one of our resident shamans–I have no direct experience with spirit guides. Second take is that my gut says maybe see if you can re-contact this entity after following Lady Gene’s recommendation.

I’d say leave it up to your spirit guide. My familiar at one time wanted her own account and
postings and everything. Harsh rejection (not here, on another forum) made her change her mind
rather quickly. Now she don’t trust humans with a few exceptions. Your guide may not be that
vocal, but I’m sure she’ll make her opinion known quickly enough. Right now I can share some
things about her here and elsewhere, but not other things. Let her decide is best policy.
