Help, I'm way too overwhelmed

like the title suggests, I am a baby witch (two months ish) and I am in over my head. it feels like there is way too much to take in and I feel like I’m getting a panic attack.

Any advice is welcome and would really help.

Thanks,

Ian M.

Focus on beginner stuff, see what speaks to you.

Easy stuff like Candle Magic, the associated web site has tons of beginner info:

It sounds like you’re trying to cram the whole of witch lore onto your plate and there’s just too much to absorb in one sitting. Sedim is correct. Keep it simple.

Since you currently identify with “death witch” and Samhain is your favorite sabbat, maybe start with reading about it on the website. It’s a gentle way to start learning about sabbats and the history of Samhain.

Please also remember that being a new adherent to witch craft means that you’re not expected to be perfect, know everything, or even cast a simple spell. Follow your heart and intuition as you study. They will serve you well.

Blessed be,

Tantalizing Tuesday Ian,

Welcome to the pack :wolf:! No reason to feel “over [your] head”. It is all good. Just start with what catches your attention. A god/dess calling to you? Crystals? Herbs? Sun, Moon? Pick something that really speaks to you and start with that. Learn how and what you wish to, there is no jumping off point with the craft. However, whatever, whenever it speaks to you.

I have a tarot thread called Tarot Talks, check in there, have a look around. We have Daily Inspiration Thread which is a nice giggle to start your day. Plenty to look at and always feel comfortable to ask questions.
