Good morning starshine...the sun says hellooo!

Hey, what’s up?

I have a keen interest in druidry, not as a neo-pagan faith but as a wisdom tradition concerning ‘‘Britto-Canaanite’’ grail mysticism. What I’ve found during my investigations has lead me to conclude that most, if not all the lore of the old druids still remains preserved, not far from plain sight. It need only to be uncovered and dusted off! One of my favorite hobbies would be studying obscure or rare occult manuscripts, paranormal investigations, alchemical/occult experiments or other arcane practices (like tantra). I study and explore the lore, myth and legends as well as philosophy and the sciences; linguistics, mathematics, psychology, biology, anthropology and of course, esotericism and the occult. I’ve delved deeply into Runosophy, Vampirism,Voodoo, Zos-Kia (which is actually a form of traditional British witchcraft) , Necronomicon/ Cthulhu mythos, Enochian, Thelema, Goetia, Egyptian magick, Christian Mysticism and Vajrayana. Basically any sort of shrouded mysticism worth investigating- I made my business to elucidate.

Some of my other passions include off-grid sustainability, self sufficiency, eco-building, hiking, bush wacking and off-grid survival. Of course, I also enjoy completely normal things such as cinema, music, walking around or exploring nature, eating stuff, buying things and revelling amidst the ‘‘urban gaieties’’. It may be seen I have a poet’s soul and in writing a thesis on druidry, I have become somewhat of a bard! Yet I am not limited to this doctrine. I have delved into all the mystery traditions of the earth and I can tell you for a fact , all are ‘‘consumed in one knowledge’’. The only difference between religions and traditions - I believe - is the names they attribute to the holy powers and the respective theological doctrine that each culture subscribes to! Kenneth Grant claimed that witchcraft was merely the ‘‘degenerated offspring of arcane wisdom traditions’’ (paraphrasing) . But my research into these matters has lead me to conclude that our predecessors possessed advanced technology, now ‘‘lost’’ and mythologized in the minds of modern people! Which is to say - occult practices are a remnant (at times distorted) from an advanced ‘‘spirtual-tec’’ .

Sometimes, perhaps, I could seem like a clueless idiot with seemingly below average social skills…any social idiocy on my part has little to do with being isolated from others. I suspect - from bad interactions with society, friends and family - I may have developed a few complexes. Complexes are like demons in their own right. They separate from ones psyche and establish themselves as their own autonomous minds- intimately associated with the defining issues that gave birth to them. They are like “cacademons and unclean spirits”. And they sabotage the original psyche which they “haunt”. Does that make sense?

I died. But I came back. Now I infect people with knowledge - and if you want - I’ll bite you a little bit

Stay blessed

Welcome to the Forum!

Any chance Kabbalah is on that list? Specifically Lurianic Kabbalah? (Not the LHP Qabala)

rare occult manuscripts,paranormal investigations

It’s not so rare, but it is rather old, and on my read-list in Que: The_Spirits_Book

Yes, I’ve studied the Sefer yetzirah and Zohar though I do have the Etz Haim in my library… it’s a rather monumental undertaking. Do you have a preferred translation?

To be honest, there are true gems to be found in Kabbalah - no doubt- yet there is also a lot of mystical Hebrew gobbledygook that need be sorted through as well … it can be a daunting task

True enough about all occult and mysticism. The best way is with a rabbi who knows this stuff,

I had one for years until he passed from hepatitis. Sad case, no transplant in time back then.

( He’s the one who told me what would happen to me in a Mosque, he was from north Africa. :skull: )

Now I rely on going back to the Hebrew root words, and commentators like Rashi.

Yes, the shrouded mysticism is to protect the precious pearls contained within. Vedic texts are infamous for being written in a twilight language which requires specialized knowledge to decode … actually, all mystery traditions are like that. I suppose they would just be traditions if they weren’t lol

oh my that is tragic, God rest his soul. That mention about the mosque sounds particularly foreboded…

You know I’ve heard that Shedim can be pious observers of the Torah - I’ve often thought about summoning one to help me see through to truth of it..

Shedim are the same as Jinn. Israel was forbidden from study of the 'Dark

Arts’ so they had to ‘borrow’ an Assyrian word to represent Jinn and really

every entity that is not an angel or demon. BTW, Islam and Judaism both

deny that (created) angels can ‘fall’. They have no free will. It’s… complicated.

Of course, Jinn do have free will just as humans do. Fae the same free will.

Rules similar with ‘heavenly bodies’, everything not the sun or the moon is

just called ‘star’. Planets, comets, meteors, astrological conjunctions… STAR

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight with me… I was being cheeky before, what I said about the summoning . I don’t really see a significant difference between Shedim, Jinn or Faery… in many cases they appear to me to be the same beings interpreted through the lens of different cultures (though there are separate classes that have developed affinities for particular behaviours, elements or environments; and there are classes that originate from different stars or constellations) .

That said, I want to assure you it’s not my way to threaten or cajole such beings to appear before me - as is custom in goetia and with christian mystics or sorcery. My idea of summoning is more aligned with the concept of an invitation : for those who wish to stay ,to stay ; and those who wish to come , to come- harmless to me and mine. To share a meal between a ‘‘man’’ and a spirit is the art of sacred things. The traditions of men are fickle and fallible and their machinations have a tendency to befuddle the truth. That which is written by ink can be distorted, but I believe the original Torah is preserved in pristine condition among pious spirits.

Well hello, David Bowie fan!

Is there a name you’d like to go by, or do you prefer Goblin King? xD

(Forgive my teasing lol)

Interesting! So that’s your primary belief-system? It seems there’s a growing number of people here who practice versions of Canaanite traditions so you’re in friendly company here.

Oh my! You are very well read! I’ve read into a lot myself, but you’ve definitely had me beat with a few of those topics. I see you even include a few Eastern references too - Tantra and Vajrayana? Curious. I have an Eastern tradition… almost no-one in the West reads about us lol.

What Eastern texts or resources have you used in your studies? :lotus:

All true, and to add to the confusion of human labels is the fact that within each race are several

tribes or nations, each with their own culture and areas of strength and weakness and powers.

We seem to have the same feeling on this. A bit about me, sorry to hijack thread:

Shaman (Hedge Witch) with Canaanite Pantheon (ELOHIM) with Jinn Familiar + a Patron Saint.

Hello!!

I am the mage Emrevel … is Wren your preferred name?

I would not go so far as to say it’s my primary belief system… it is certainly an aspect of it although. I was compelled by the divine spirits connected to my bloodline to seek out and elucidate the druid histories but also to bring knowledge and understanding to the remnants of divine tribe and others who are mixed of ‘‘eldritch origin’’. When a people no longer remember who they are , they cease to exist… but nature abhors a vacuum. Part of the problem in the world today is that there are tons of divine beings who have forgotten who they are and from where they have come. This greatly contributes to the madness or insanity that we see and experience in this world.

My primary ‘‘belief system’’ might be considered as the cult of divine kings, the art of khem and the sorcery of zep-tepi ( it’s my understanding that all wisdom traditions and systems of magick are mutated forms, aspects or later additions built over an Elder, primary source. This is what I call the Sorcery of Zep Tepi – the first occasion).

Yes, it is sort of unfortunate –some real gems in the Vedas that would surely complement many western practices but to each their own, right? My study is centred on the hathayogapradipika, rudrayamala, rigveda and the paratrimshika … these are probably some of the best of all Vedic texts because they teach us about kundalini, how to control our hormones and generate soma- which is also called amrita , the nectar of the gods.

No apologizes necessary- I’m glad to know more about you. Very interesting… I can feel your Jinn through your words!! I didn’t want to be too forward or like expose you but it made me to wonder if you might be some sort of hybrid and/or connected to the line of Dan…

Very good Emrevel! Well met.

Yes, you can call me Wren!

I can agree with you there, there are many lost, suffering and confused souls out there… I think it’s in all our best interest to help those who are in suffering.

Interesting, I’ll have to look more into this Zep-Tepi. I’m familiar with some Egyptian mythology and khemetic tradition, but not all of it. Sounds very cool!

Oh for sure, and I’m not telling anyone to look into anything they don’t wish to. I still hold and teach a lot of Western knowledge from what I gained from my old western ancestral-focused practice. I was once a reconstructionist Norse Pagan.

Nice! That’s a solid line-up. Yes, learning how to cultivate and manipulate kundalini is a very powerful practice. I still have a lot of reading to do beyond that, but those are very good. :lotus:

Ok, Wren ! It’s a pleasure to make acquaintance with you

My altruism is not entirely unselfish … suffice to say , it would be more enjoyable to experience a world where greater numbers of people have meaning and purpose informed by spirituality and the natural aspirations of healthy human psyches.

The zep-tepi tradition I speak of is pre-egyptian… you may find yourself hard pressed to find any pertinent information regarding ''the sorcery of zep tepi’’ – as far as I am aware- it is a term I coined and a system , at this time, exclusively known only to myself. It was discerned through many years of research , investigation and practice in doctrines such as psychology, linguistics, anthropology, astronomy and occult traditions like Runosophy, Thelema and Zos-Kia . As such, the closest system resembling the sorcery of zep tepi is found in the Zos Kia Cultus. The key difference between the two is minimal but significant …

Oh the Eddas are a very fine mystery tradition , comparable in many ways to that outlined in the Veda… have you read the Seed of Yggdrasil ?

Kundalini certainly is a serious practice, and one not without real dangers… So what is it you hope to find in your investigations? Knowledge and understanding? Nirvana? Cosmic Apotheosis or what?

We could spend over 300 years studying the Vedas and offspring traditions but only to scratch the surface !

I see. I did look up Zep-Tepi and saw it mentioned in an entry on Egyptian creation myth. Also looked up Zos Kia. Interesting. I notice Austin Spare also took from some elements of Buddhism and tantra. He seems like an interesting character.

Oh yes! I understand there is a linguistic and obscure cultural link between ancient European cultures and the Vedic culture though the early Proto-Indo-European migrations. A topic I was aware of even when I was a Norse Pagan, but I’ve become even more acutely aware of now!

Not directly. But I have listened to long talks about its contents. Fascinating book. The only reason I didn’t read it directly was I had trouble finding it through my normal sources at the time - and the cost.

Indeed! Just give me a few lifetimes. xD

Hmm… from the beginning my practice has always been a process of self-discovery. I’ve lived through a lot of mysteries. Part of that is from my bloodline ancestry - but it’s also more than that.

I’m a Buddhist. I’m focused on Southeast Asian Esoteric Buddhism. (And the Buddhist side of Tantra more so than the Hindu.) Not sure how much you know about Buddhist history, but Southeast Asia has a unique style that blends folk practice, esoteric Buddhism, and Hindu deities.

It depends on how you want to define apotheosis - but you could argue that what Buddha achieved was like apotheosis… and like any Buddhist I want to achieve what he achieved. I know that’s a hell of a goal! lol :lotus:

[Edited to make it at least a little shorter, lol…]

To be sure - Spare was an interesting character, beyond his time - perhaps too advanced for the zeitgeist of his era..

It is so! There are many links especially between the Norse and Arya through mythology, linguistics and occult practices. What really sets apart the Eddas - I think - is that the allegorical nature of the poems preserve a key to attain union with the Golden Maiden , the triple Goddess and the high gods of the north.

Understandable… The tomb cost a hefty sum- around $90 when I first purchased. However, it’s crammed full of pure unadulterated knowledge – the depth of scholarship is impeccable and unprecedented in regards to revelation of arcane secrets in Norse mythology - truly putting it on the map as a real wisdom tradition rather than some entertaining fables as it was largely considered to be in mainstream narratives. Luckily - as you seem to be aware - much of it has been made available for free on youtube and the author’s website.

Very interesting… I always find mysteries of the blood to be most fascinating!

Theravada? I’ve study some of the philosophy found in Vajrayana and I practice it according to dictates or guidance from the ‘‘Deva’’ I awakened through yoga and mantra recitation - but further than that - my knowledge is limited when it comes to Buddhism. So far, I’ve only been interested in practical applications of the arcane science to aid me in further awakening of latent potential and transconsciousness.

Buddhahood, got cha! Transcendence is a most respectable aspiration- a worthy goal indeed!

Yes! I actually completely forgot about that book until now, but you’re right I could easily read it now… :eyes:

Esoteric Theravada, AKA Borān Kammaṭṭhāna, and other names. Important distinction because it looks very different from mainstream Theravada. It has elements of Vajrayana and Mahayana mixed in… among other things.

Very good! A great direction for Eastern study. Especially since you have a guru/teacher/deity to help for the deeper and more dangerous techniques - that’s how it’s done!

Thank you! :white_heart:

Anyway. Sorry for how much reading I’ve given you! I have a “talent” for writing too much and derailing topics, can you tell!? LOL… :lotus:
