Hello dears! I wanted to wish everyone blessings with the upcoming full moon and inquire what you all might be doing to celebrate. I will be doing what I usually do, manifesting, doing yoga, making tea and moonwater, opening my windows, cleansing my space, doing a spell bath, and setting up an altar for my ancestors to carry me through Samhain. I’m trying to sort out a potential ritual, as the moon will enter Taurus, and I, a Libra sun, feel very drawn to Taurus through Venus. My primary intention is to hone and measure my senses and intuition, hoping to illuminate my path in magick. Maybe I will paint a bit? Not sure yet. Any resources or ideas for this would be greatly appreciated. Either way, I’d love to create a space here where all can share how we appreciate the moon on nights like these. Hello Fifer I was going to work a protection spell tonight but it appears that Monday is more auspicious. Instead, I’ll probably set up the moon water jar, use my favorite perfume oil and bathe, then light some candles before I sleep. I live in a mixed industrial/residential area where the moon often isn’t visible until about 3 am, so I will light candles again when I rise to meet Luna Prime and give thanks for her light and blessing. Great question, Shanthi. I have often have this issue in my area, San Francisco Bay CA, where fog is more common than clear weather. There’s a [reddit thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/witchcraft/s/apFzI6n5js) which addresses both the magic and the science around making moon water under clouds. Pretty cool concept! As for making moon water, it’s pretty simple. Place a container on a window sill, back yard area, anywhere the moon will shine on it throughout the night. Collect it in the morning, seal the container and keep it for a spell that calls for it. Bright blessings to you. ---
