I had a dream a few nights ago whereas I was..someplace and I had this rather decrepit looking thing, a hammer resembling a sledgehammer maybe.

I was with someone but now am unsure, could have been my dad (_who passed away three years ago_) and in the dream I raised the hammer over my head and said “Odin, please give me ‘something-something’ (_For the life of me I can’t seem recall what it was_) now!” and slammed the hammer into the ground.

At first nothing happened but then the hammer-thing began to glow and as I lifted it elongated into something that looked like a lance with the edge seeming to have a serrated edge kid of like a harpoon.

What is interesting is that I do not think about Odin nor do I believe in him or any deity in the traditional sense so it leaves me wondering why my subconscious chose to use this metaphor to relay a message or whatever considering that I don’t believe in deities and do not not center my altar around any of them.

Does anyone have any insight as to what this could possibly mean?
