If you have anxiety you can have your animal registered as an Emotional Support Animal and Landlords must abide by the law for ESA. ---

Hmm, I’d definitely have to keep the cage out of my room then. That’s one reason I liked the sound of getting a bird, they’re usually not nocturnal! Though I know some bird varieties can be _very_ loud during the day so I’d have to keep that in mind too. They told me if the bird I get is too loud for the neighbors, they’d make me get rid of it. 😕 ---

Omg owls would be the ultimate fantasy! We have great-horned owls up here. They’re incredible to watch at night. 🦉 Brief “pet” update: I now have a delightful pair of ring-necked doves that have been hanging out on our porch regularly lol. Cheers. ---
